Katrien works with mid- to large- sized corporations who are committed to becoming more a part of the solution – and less a part of the problem – to fostering a fairer, more equal, and human-centered society and economy.  

As ”A Little Better” she and her partners support bold, values-driven and forward-looking executive leaders and teams that are determined to transform  their businesses, but who need help getting started, scaling progress, or becoming industry leaders. 

Katrien holds an : 

• Exec M.A. in Sustainability & Responsible Management
• M.Sc. in Anthropology
• Certifications in ”business & human rights” , and ”decolonization of sustainability”.

Since 2013, she has held senior sustainability roles at, or consulted as a freelance expert for, global companies including : UCB, Toyota, BNP Paribas, Halma, Sofina, T-Mobile, Etex, Sonnedix, Proximus, SIPEF … and has also worked as an expert for European Commission in Africa and for the UN in SE. Asia.

Katrien’s partners and clients describe her as a strategic  and action–orientated team member and a passionate advocate of systems change, who always strives to work in alignment with the values of integrity, trust and cooperation. 

As of Q1 2026, Katrien is based in Bangkok Thailand, whilst also supporting clients and teams in Europe remotely. 
A Little Better remains a Belgian VAT registered entity.
